The tension lever fastening esp. for ski boots, consists of a toothed strip (1) fixed to one strap of the boot, into which a tension piece and tension lever (2) on the other strap fit. The tension lever (2) has two catches (4,5) forming a pivot axle, and which, when the tension lever (2) is raised and lowered, fits into the toothed strip (1). The bent ends (7) of a clamp (6) fit into an elongated hole (8) in the tension lever. The tension lever has strips (13) which fit into side, lengthwise grooves (15) in the toothed strip.
