Abstract

In order to provide a steam turbine facility wherein appropriate sealing can be provided between members formed of a Ni based alloy cast material at a steam temperature of 650°C or higher the parent material of both a first member (32) and a second member (34) in this steam turbine facility (1) is formed of a cast material comprising a Ni based alloy and/or austenitic steel and/or high chrome steel with the first member and second member forming a space through which steam with a temperature of 650°C or higher passes. A metal gasket (60 80) is provided between the first member (32) and the second member (34). The metal gasket (60 80) is in line contact with the first member (32) and the second member (34) at multiple locations. At least the portions of the first member (32) and the second member (34) which are in line contact with the metal gasket (60 80) are provided with a first high hardness layer (56) having a higher hardness than the parent material.
