Claims (6)
1. A spray nozzle Insert comprising a substantially cylindrical plug formed of a plastics material adapted to be tightly fitted into an outlet end of a supply conduit, an outer wall of said plug being longitudinally grooved, said groove extending between a base end of the plug adapted to be located in the conduit and a portion of the plug wall adapted to project beyond the conduit, the arrangement being such that the conduit and the groove walls define a nozzle outlet port.
2. An insert according to Claim 1 wherein a outlet end of said groove, remote from the base end of the plug is of tapering cross section.
3. fin insert according to Claim 2 wherein at least that portion of the longitudinal extend of the groove, adjacent its outlet end, is of asymmetrical cross section.
4. An insert according to Claim 3 wherein at least said portion, comprises a plurality of juxtaposed, component groove portions of differing dimensions.
5. An insert according to Claim 4 wherein the outlet ends of said component groove portions are formed with differing degrees of taper.
