Claims (3)

1. An electrical connecto comprising a tubular housing, a first elongated electrical conductor having an electrical contact portion at each end thereof and having mounted integral thereon means fo attenuating electrical signals of predetermined frequencies, means for fixedly mounting the first electrical conductor within said tubular housing so that one end of said filter electrical conductor is accessible for contact from one end of said housing, a second electrical conductor having a wire receiving end accessible an from the other end of said housing and/opposite end adapted for contact with the other end of the first electrical conductor, and means for mounting the second electrical conducto within said tubular housing such that it may be released therefrom and a wire may be soldered or crimped to its wire receiving end while the second conductor is separated from the firs electrical conductor, characterized in that said means; for mounting the second electrical conductor in said housing includes a first member made of insulating, resiliently deformable material and having a passage therethrough, the Inner wall of which is in pressure contact with a wire attached to the second electrical conductor, a second member made of insulating rigid material mounted within said tubular housing adjacent said first member having a passage therethrough aligned with the passage of said first member, and means releasably retaining the second electrical contact, ; said means disposed in said passage in said second member. · 44811/2

An electrical connector according to Claim 1, characterized In that said passage In said first resilient member has an axis, and Its inner wall has a series of radially Inwardly extending annular ribs separated by annular grooves, whereb the resiliency of said ribs allows the second conductor to pass therethrough while exerting a sufficient radial pressure on the wire attached to said conductor once said latter is connected with said first conductor.
3. An electrical connector as recited in Claim 1 wherein said means for fixedly mounting said first electrical conductor includes Ϊ a conducting member comprised of an electrically conducting material and having a passage through which said first electrical conductor is disposed, said conducting member having one portio soldered to said first electrical conductor and another portion soldered to said tubular housing so that said first electrical conductor is immovably mounted within said tubular housing and electrically connected to said housing.
