1. +3206/2 Claims: 1. A weapon, for example for installation into an armoured vehicle, for the rapidly successive firing of ammunition and in which, to vary the angle of the weapon barrel with respect to the vertical, the said barrel is swingable about a bearing axis which extends transversely to the axis of the bore of the weapon barrel, characterised by a firing chamber which is swingable, relatively to the weapon barrel, about an axis which coincides, or substantially coincides:, with said bearing axis, whereby the firing chamber is swing-able for re-loading independently of the respective angle of the weapon barrel with respect to the vertical, always into the same loading position. 21· A weapon as claimed in claim 1 , characterised in that the. weapon barrel is mounted so as to be axially dlsplaceable in a cradle. 3· A weapon as claimed in claim 1 , in combination with ammunition supply means in the form of a magazine, characterised in that, in use, the firing chamber of the weapon is swingable for re-loading independently of the respective angle of the weapon barrel with respect to the vertical, always into the same loading position in relation to an upper edge of said ammunition supply means. j k» A weapon as claimed in claim 1 or 2, or a combination of a weapon and supply means as claimed in claim 3» characterised in that the firing chamber is provided at its ends with tubular sealing rings which 3206/2 which can, to achieve a gas-tight seal after a swinging of the firing chamber, when loaded, into alignment with the weapon barrel, be respectively compressed or deformed, forwardly against an end of the barrel and rearwardly against a base part of a casing of the weapon receiving the barrel and the firing chamber, via lateral bolts or projections which can bear on said rings and are actuatable by mechanical locking members·· 5· A weapon as claimed in claim 1, 2 or U», or the combination of a weapon and supply means as claimed in claim 3 or k» characterised in that the firing chamber is provided, substantially centrally, with bearing recesses, into which pivots on a casing of the weapon engage, whilst trunnions, for swivel mounting of the said weapon barrel and casing and a cradle therefor, and approximately aligned with regard to the said pivots, are secured to said cradle. 6· A weapon as claimed in claims 1 , 2, k or 5» or the combination of a weapon and supply means as claimed in claims 3, k or 5» characterised in that there is provided for applying to a base part of the weapon, after the removal of the weapon barrel from a cradle therefor, an articulation piece which is pivotally mount-ed on a turntable on a base plate or mounting, and that there is provided for raising the weapon barrel an adjustable barrel support which can engage the barrel and which is carried by a housing or mounting hinged to* a jib arm of the turntable. 3206/2 7. A weapon as claimed in, OP the combination of a weapon and supply means as claimed in, claim k or claim 5 or- 6 insofar as. it is dependent on claim k9 characterised in that the swingable iring chamber is provided with a toggle, via which it can be swung in and out and via which the locking members for the sealing rings can be actuated. 8· A weapon as claimed in any one of claims , 2 and k to 7» or the combination of a weapon and supply means as claimed in any one of claims 3 to 7, characterised in that the barrel of the weapon and at least a front part of the firing chamber are provided with corresponding riflings. 9· A weapon substantially as herein described with reference to Figures 1 to 7 of the accompanying drawings. 10· A weapon provided with means for mounting it on the ground, substantially as herein described with reference to Figure 8 of the accompanying drawings. 11 · An armoured vehicl provided with a weapon and ammunition supply means, substantially as herein described with reference to Figures 1 to 7 of the accompanying drawings.
