Claims (1)
1. A- 3 6. Tha method as defined in claim 1, wherein tha reaction and precipitation is carried out to deposit from about 2$ up to about 30$ of said metal molybdata on said partioulated oarriar based on the total weight of said pigment. 7. The mathod as defined in claim 1, wherein tha quantity ··- of metal ions is controlled in stoichiometric proportion relative to the quantity of molybdate ions present. 8. The method as defined in olaim 1, wherein the concentration of metal, oxide ia controlled in excess of that required to form tha corresponding metal molybdate and the separation is oarried out to remova the coated said parrier in addition to any raaidual solid mattar remaining from said aqueous solution for drying and subsequent oalcination.
