Claims (3)

CLAIMS ') Crate for packing and transporting foodstuffs, particularly fruits and vegetables or other products , characterized in that it consists of two distinct sections of which one is a carrying structure while the other is an inner lining, said carrying structure being a frame of plastic material of a rectangular outline, consisting of four vertical cor- . ner stanchions protruding above the long side walls of the crate, said corner stanchions being provided with supporting feet and being connected together by two horizontal ribs at each of the long side walls of the crate and also by two horizontal ribs at each of the short side walls, the horizon tal ribs of each long side wall being connected together by three vertical ribs, while the horizontal ribs of the short side walls are connected together by a secondary vertical rib, the bottom of the crate being formed by two: diagonal and two transverse ribs, the upper ribs of the side walls of the crate being provided with molded seats for hooking the ends of closing straps; said inner lining consisting of a wrapper made of cardboard or other flexible material in thin sheets.
