Claims (21)

264479/ WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
1. A building component comprising: an aluminum frame made of a plurality of hollow elements; a grill including a plurality of hollow bars; an interconnected interior space including at least some part of each of said plurality of hollow of elements, and an interior of said grill wherein at least one end of each bar of said plurality of hollow bars is inserted into a hole in the side of another element of said plurality of elements; and a continuous filler material filling said interconnected interior space, said filler material comprising a hardened cement, wherein a connection between said grill and said frame is only by said continuous filler material.
2. The building component of claim 1, wherein said continuous filler material includes concrete.
3. The building component of any one of claims 1 to 2, wherein said cement contains bits of aluminum.
4. The building component of claim 3, wherein said bits of aluminum have a long dimension of between 1 to 5 mm.
5. The building component of claim 3, wherein said bits of aluminum have a long dimension of between 5 to 20 mm.
6. The building component of claim 1, wherein said at least one end of said hollow bar includes a retaining form that links to said filler material to inhibit removal of said hollow bar from said another element.
7. The building component of claim 4, wherein said retaining form includes at least one of a flange, a hole and an undercut.
8. A railing including a building component according to any one of claims 1 to 7.
9. Security bars including a building component according to any one of claims 1 to 7.
10. An awning including a building component according to any one of claims 1 to 7. 264479/
11. A building including a building component according to any one of claims 1 to 10.
12. A kit for forming a building component according to any one of claims 1 to 10.
13. The kit of claim 12, further comprising, said plurality of elements and dry ingredients for forming said cement.
14. A method of forming a building component comprising: providing an aluminum frame including a plurality of elements having a common hollow volume; inserting each end of each of a plurality of hollow bars into a hollow in a respective element of said plurality of elements to form a grill, wherein at least one end of each bar of said plurality of hollow bars is inserted into a hole in the side of another element of said plurality of elements; filling said common hollow volume with a fluid cement; hardening said fluid cement; and attaching said building component to a building after said hardening, wherein a connection between said grill and said frame is only by said continuous filler material.
15. The method of claim 14, wherein at least one element of said plurality of elements includes a retaining form, the method further comprising: linking said retaining form to said cement to retain said at least one element in a hollow of at least another of said plurality of elements.
16. The method of claim 15, further including: forming said retaining form.
17. The method of claim 16, wherein said forming said retaining form includes forming a hole in an end portion of said at least one element.
18. The method of claim 17, wherein said forming said retaining form includes forming a flange in an end portion of said at least one element.
19. The method of claim 14 wherein said cement comprises aluminum bits having a long dimension of between 1 to 5 mm or between 5 to 20 mm. 264479/
20. The method of claim 14, further comprising: attaching said frame to a platform said attaching sequential after said hardening such that said grill forms railing around said platform.
21. The method of claim 14, further comprising: attaching said frame to a window said attaching sequential after said hardening such that said grill forms a set of security bars protecting said window.
