Description

Integrated fertirrigation uni t Jose Manuel MARTINEZ MATIAS C. 86614 INTEGRATED FERTIRRIGATION UNIT , .
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION As is expressed in the title of this specification, the present invention refers to an integrated fertirri-gation unit that provides a series of relevant features over those presently used for the same purpose.
The object of the present invention consists of filling the gap existing in this type of machines used for localized irrigation, with a machine that fills needs desired in fertirrigation , aside from being easy to assemble right on the field to be irrigated.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present localized irrigation systems that use fertilizers in irrigation, tend to consist of a fertilizer tank from which the same is obtained by mixing it with irrigation water.
The problem posed by this type of machines lies in the right amount of water that has to be diluted in the fertilizer to obtain a suitable mixture for fertilizing, aside from the fertilizer itself that may be of various types .
Normally, these assemblies are done by hand on the field itself, and they are almost never automatic, with the subsequent frequent movements. to the irrigation site in order to supply fertilizers, aside from possible errors upon mixing the fertilizers with water.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION In order to avoid the above cited inconveniences, the present invention consists of a series of fertilizer tanks that are located upon a base, that is installed in the irrigation field upon a concrete platform.
Two of the tanks have a rectangular prismatic shape with rounded corners and edges, and they are attached to each other, having on the top a hinged rectangular cover to fill them with liquid fertilizer.
Adjacent to one of them, there is a cylinder tank shorter than the previous ones, where solid fertilizer is stored, and upon which a agitator is mounted in order to make the mixture with water, this tank determining some spaces between it and the adjacent tank, that form a prismatic tank on each side of the same, with a triangular plan with a curved, surface according to the circular tank, and that is used to store acidified water.
Upon the acidified water and the cylindric tanks there is a cover with a plan identical to the outer contour of these hinged tanks in their part above the side wall of the adjacent rectangular prismatic tank, with a height such that between the cylindric tank and this cover there is practically the same height as the rectangular prismatic tanks.
Water lines that rise individually through all of these tanks reach them in order to end in a semi-circumference, with the corresponding valves, hydraulic pumps, meters, etc., to take water from the general main to them, and mix it with the concentrated fertilizers found inside .
The acidified water tank, since it is best to always have it full, has a conventional float system and it will be used for the cleaning of the pipelines.
Lines with their corresponding valves and floats that will converge over the irrigation ones come out of all of these tanks forming a fertilizer injection system through the corresponding pump and other accessories thereof.
These pipes, pumps and other accessories of the hydraulic installation will be located under the tanks and to one side of them, being hidden by means of a side cover hinged to one side.
Some photoelectric cells will be installed over the rectangular prismatic tanks in order to provide energy to the pumps, closing valves, etc., and to an electronic alarm-control that carries out all the necessary functions to effect correct fertilization of the soil, at the same time that it is provided with a sound alarm to signal possible external manipulations of the fert-irrigation unit and breakdowns of the same, with the possibility of connecting the entire unit to a computer that will control it entirely and from which the user can know the actual location of the same at all times.
In order to provide a better understanding of the features of the invention and forming an integral part of this specification, some sheets of drawings are attached in whose figures, the integrated fertirr igation unit, object of the invention, has been represented in an illustrative and non-restrictive manner.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Figure 1.- It shows a schematic section of figure 2 by the plane of cut A -A, where the three tanks can be seen with their corresponding water supply pipes, representing in dash line the pipe of the acidified water tank that remains hidden.
Figure 2.- It shows a plan view of the fertirriga-tion unit object of the invention, where the cylindric tank has been represented with a dash line.
Figure 3.- It shows a diagram of the hydraulic installation of the integrated fertirr igation unit, where two fertilizer and acidified water tanks have been represented with a dash line.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT Making reference to the numbering used in the figures, the integrated fertirrigat ion unit, object of the invention, is formed from two attached tanks (1) and (2), built out of water-proof material and on the top thereof there are some hinged covers (5) for each one, with their corresponding locks ( 6. ) Adjacent to these tanks there is a cylindric tank (3) that determines some tanks (4) on each side, with a cover (7) of all of them, articulated with hinges (8) to the wall of the adjacent rectangular tank (1) and that will hide an agitator (3) located upon the cylindric tank (3) On the other side of this cylindric tank, there is a rectangular door (9) for access to the inside, articulated sideways with hinges (10) and with a lock (11.) Inside, the rectangular tanks (1) and (2) contain concentrated liquid fertilizer and it is mixed with water coming from the general main, by means of pipes (12) that rise inside ending in a semi-circumference.
The cylindric tank (3) contains solid fertilizer that is mixed with water by means of a pipe (13) while the acidified water tanks (4) are filled completely with water coming from a pipe (14) of the same features as that of the cylindric tank (3), just like that of the rectangular tanks (1) and (2.) As can be seen in figure 3, there is an entire hydraulic circuit that collects water from the main (15), which by means of a valve (16) passes through some filters (17) and meters (18) to divide up the line in two branches (19) and (20. ) Branch (19) provides tanks (1), (2), (3) and (4) with their corresponding valves (20*), with the exception of the acidified water tank (4) that is filled totally by means of a conventional float system (21.) Once the fertilizers of the tanks have been mixed, by means of the corresponding valves (22) and filters (23), the mixture passes to a line (24) that by means of a pump (25) and filter (26) converges with the branch (20) of the general main, through a retaining valve (27), and that forms the irrigation pipeline (28.) Each time irrigation takes place, the acidified water tank (4) will release the liters of water necessary to "clean all the pipelines and pumps.
All of these valves and pumps are controlled by a central control unit that also includes a sound alarm system against external manipulation of any element of the fertirr igation unit, and when any of the tanks contains fertilizer below 20 % of the capacity thereof.
This central control unit controls the amount of water to be poured into the tanks; it opens the valves necessary to effect the irrigation and all the other actions required to be able to effect irrigation with fertilizers in the best possible manner. It is foreseen that a computer located in the distribution center of the community irrigation can be connected to this central control unit and from the computer any data of the fert- irrigation unit can be obtained.
In order to feed the central control unit, as well as the pumps, relays and other electric elements photoelectric cells (29) that feed a battery are mounted, making this entire invention autonomous.
This entire unit is mounted in the irrigation field upon a concrete platform (not shown) and is anchored by means of some supports (30) . 102339/2

Claims (1)
