Abstract
A coffee brewer structure has an elevated temperature heating device for heating water to a brewing temperature, the outlet of the heating device being connected through an elastomeric duct 26 to a distributor 27 arranged to deliver the brewing water in distributed fashion into a brewing chamber. The temperature of the distributor is maintained at a temperature less than that of the heating device as a result of the thermal insulating characteristics of the elastomeric duct for improved functioning of the brewer. The duct is illustratively formed of silicon rubber and extends below the heating device. <IMAGE>
