Abstract

The vaginal diaphragm comprises a cap (3) and an annular, fairly rigid and yet elastic edge (4) for sealing against the vaginal walls. At the same time, the diaphragm (2) is made so flexible that mutually opposite sides of the edge (4) thereof can be folded together. For this purpose, the diaphragm is made of at least one thermoplastic elastomer. Such a vaginal diaphragm has no toxic effects. <IMAGE> [GB1601777A]
