Abstract

The mouldings (3) are obtained by pushing a pipe in the cold state over a correspondingly shaped inner mould (2) and fixing the pipe ends (3a, 3b). Subsequently, the structure obtained is conditioned at an elevated temperature at which the foam is flexible to plastic, then cooled and the pipe is stripped off the inner mould. A vacuum is advantageously applied to the inner mould which is pierced for this purpose. <IMAGE> [GB1589667A]
