Abstract
Azatetracyclic compounds of formula I <IMAGE> are obtained by reaction of a reactive diester of a diethanol of formula II <IMAGE> with a compound of formula III <IMAGE> The meaning of the individual symbols is given in Claim 1. The novel compounds may be used as tranquillizing, antipsychotic and sedative compounds for the treatment of anxiety (agitation) states.
