1525620 Fuel delivery apparatus KOPPENS AUTOMATIC FABRIEKEN BV 19 Dec 1975 [21 Jan 1975] 52194/75 Heading B8N [Also in Divisions G4 and G5] A fuel delivery apparatus has an indicator for fuel quantity and price composed of a set of 7-segment electro-mechanical characters connected by logic circuitary to a flow meter in the feed line. The indicator 33 is supplied with signals which energize coils 46, Fig. 3, to magnetize a high magnetic remanence core 47 to attract or repel a permanent magnet 45 on a pivoted arm 43 which carries a segment 41, 42 of the indicator display. The frame 40 and the control plate 44 are preferably black and the segments are pivoted from under the frame. The logic circuit is fed from pulse generators 8-10, Fig. 1, for each of supergrade, regular and Diesel fuel respectively. The pulses are supplied along two lines to a pulse checking device 11 and then to counters 12, 13 and arithmetic devices 14, 15 controlled by a price setting member 16. The outputs of litre counters 12, 13 and cost counters 19, 20 are fed to respective multiplexers 21, 22 whose outputs are fed to a comparator 23, and in binary and inverse code to memory stores 24, 30. A comparator 25 is used to check each successive information cycle with the previous cycle. The displayed information of the indicator 33 is also checked by a comparator 28. An oscillator 34 supplies clock signals. The BCD-coded information for the litre and cost indication is converted into a 7-segment code for the indicator, Fig. 8, by an apparatus which includes a random-access memory 60 to which BCD input is applied with a comparator 63. The output of the memory is supplied to a code converter 61 which transmits through seven lines to a multiplexer 64 and controlmember 65. The timing of the multiplexer 64 is controlled by outputs S 5 to S 11 of a decoder (57), Fig. 7 (not shown).
