Abstract

Errors caused by temp. fluctuations can be removed from magnetoresistors by introducing an additional electrode (6) which divides the semiconductor film (2), covering the magneto-dielectric substrate disc (1), into two parts with equal ohmic resistances. Both parts are included in a bridge circuit with a potentiometer (8) which is used to balance the bridge. A central electrode (3) is surrounded by a peripheral electrode (4) with an insulator bushing (5). A magnetic screen (7) encloses the peripheral part of the disc; it consists of two identical hoops which are pressure welded together and act as a contact lead to the electrode (6). [FR2280755A1]
