Abstract

Liquid adhesive compsn. for bonding surfaces of manufactured prods. and bonding together particles and fibres, consists of 5-95 esp. 20-80 wt.% polymer latex (1) and 95-5 esp. 80-20 wt.% aqs. soln. of a thermosetting resin (II). The compsn. has excellent adhesion, good resistance to water and cracking, good durability and is suitable for a wide range of applications. I is pref. a polychloroprene latex. II is pref. a urea/formaldehyde or melamine/formaldehyde resin. [FR2281415A1]
