Abstract

1443154 Plasterboards BPB INDUSTRIES Ltd 30 Oct 1973 [9 Nov 1972] 51873/72 Heading E1B Plasterboard is manufactured by scoring fold lines along a lower paper lining sheet 10, applying a band of adhesive 13 along at least one fold, folding the paper, allowing the adhesive to set, casting the plaster 16 in the tray thus formed, applying a further lining sheet 17 and forming the board to the required cross-sectional dimension. The adhesive is a quick-setting hot melt adhesive. The boards may have rabbetted or tongued and grooved edges. [GB1443154A]
