Abstract

1434024 Earth fault protective systems LANSING BAGNALL Ltd 21 June 1973 [30 June 1972] 30678/72 Heading H2K An industrial truck which has an electric motor operating circuit 2 including a battery 1 has a conductive chassis 24 to which a monitoring circuit 22 is connected so as to feed an alternating signal to a relay to retain the relay contacts 27a, 27b (controlling contacts 4, 4a and 29, 29a) closed unless the alternating signal is reduced due to some fault connection between the circuit 2 and the chassis 24 which are also connected by a path via a connection 40. The oscillator and sensor arrangement of the circuit 22 is provided with diodes (Figs. 2 and 3, not shown) to prevent D.C. flow in circuit 22. [GB1434024A]
