1355559 Diagnostic compositions G D SEARLE & CO 5 July 1971 [6 July 1970] 31396/71 Heading A5B [Also in Division C3] A diagnostic testing composition comprises a sulphated polysaccharide, e.g. sulphated potato starch amylopectin, or the metal salt thereof, of molecular weight at least one million combined with a dyestuff, e.g. a thiazindye such as methylene blue (for endoscopic examinations) or with a radionuclide, e.g. iodine-125, iodine-131 or technetium-99m for examinations using radiation imaging devices. The compositions can be administered orally in conventional manners or parenterally. [GB1355559A]
