The support for a broaching machine (2) finishing inner pipe walls has a hydraulic ram (10) with a piston rod movable in two directions, and a base. Fixed and moving clamping heads are mounted concentrically to the piston rod and base. Jaws on the heads engage slots in the machined blank, the latter passing through a central bore in the piston rod. - The ram is solidly coupled to a hydraulic feed table (7) and a top guide (3). A bottom guide (1) is firmly coupled to the machine, while the top guide moves w.r.t. it. A guide tube (8) on which a support roller (9) is mounted, is fixed to the top guide parallel to the ram axis.
