Abstract

Small objects pref. workpieces in machine can be temporarily secured into place using double sided adhesive platelets based on plastics film, pref. plasticised PVC film, prepd. by applying to both sides of the film an adhesive layer with an embossed surface pattern, covering the adhesive layers with a siliconised sepg. paper and cutting on a platen press the upper covering paper and the plastics film, but not the lower supporting covering paper to shapes determined by the use for which the platelets are intended. - The embossed pattern of the adhesive layer is obtd. directly by applying the adhesive with a gtagravure roll or by screen printing methods, or indirectly by using embossed speg. paper to cover plane adhesive surfaces.
