Abstract

An odour absorbing composition (I) that is safe for use on the skin comprises: (a) 0.1-25 wt.% uncomplexed cyclodextrin; and (b) a powder carrier. Also claimed is an odour and moisture absorbing composition (II) comprising (a) and (b) as above and (c) a highly effective moisture absorber. Further claimed is use of (I) and (II) for reducing body and/or vaginal odour and excess moisture, by application to occluded skin, pelvic region, external vagina and/or panty-area.
