A találmány tárgya alumíniumszilikát-komponenst, azaz lecserélhetőionokat tartalmazó, porózus, térrácsos szerkezetű alumínium-szilikátot, továbbá vasvegyületet tartalmazó készítmény vizekfoszfátion-tartalmának eltávolítására. A találmány szerinti készítmény0,1-99,9 tömegrész vasvegyületet, éspedig egy vagy több szilárd,kristályvíztartalmú vas(II)- vagy vas(III)-sót vagy ezek oxidáltformáját tartalmazna 99,9-0,1 tömegrész alumíniumszilikát-komponensselés 1 mól vasvegyületre vonatkoztatva 0,1-10 mól kalciumion-forrással,éspedig kalcium-hidroxiddal, kalcium-oxiddal és/vagy kalcium-karbonáttal összeőrölve. A találmány tárgyát képezi továbbá a fentikészítmény előállítása és felhasználása vizek foszfátion-tartalmánakeltávolítására.
