Abstract
A chromium-chelate preparation comprises 0.1-100 wt.% chromium-humate, 99.9-0 known additive pref. starch, glucose, water. Chromium-humate is prepared by alkaline treatment of humic acid containing peat to yield an alkali-humate solution calculated on the solids concentration of this solution 0.05-15 wt.% of a Cr+++ ion is added in the form of inorganic Cr-salts. The mixture is agitated for 1-3 hrs. Opt. the chromium-humate contents is isolated by known means.
