A találmány tárgya kisülőlámpa dielektromosan gátolt elektródokkal. Akisülőlámpának nemesgázzal töltött, cső alakú kisülőedénye (2) van,opcionálisan fényporréteggel van ellátva és legalább három hosszúkás,a cső alakú kisülőedény (2) hossztengelyével párhuzamos elektródot (3,4, 5) tartalmaz. Az elektródok úgy vannak elrendezve, hogy teljesül azs/a 0,1 összefüggés, ahol s egy elektródpár (3, 4; 3, 5) gondolatbeliösszekötési vonala (20) és a kisülőedény (2) legközelebbi szomszédosfala közötti maximális távolság, és a az ebben az elektródpárban lévőelektródok közötti távolság. Ily módon nagyobb fénysűrűség jön létre.A lámpa elsősorban impulzusüzemű, dielektromosan gátolt kisüléshezalkalmazható. Ó
