Description

The invention relates to a strap for women's underwear, especially a strap for a bra, in which the width of the middle longitudinal part is increased in contrast to the width of the parts of the strap attached to it on both sides.

Braces of this type are known. Based on their elasticity, they can follow the movements of the body or parts of the body, so that the parts of clothing held over them exert no or only little tensile or compressive stress on the body of the person who wears them. Such a shoulder strap goes over the shoulders of the person who wears such clothes, with the middle longitudinal part of the shoulder strap used for fitting, and the attached parts on both sides, which pass along the chest or back of the wearer, are connected at the ends in an appropriate way to the article of clothing.

From US-PS 4 100 924, such a shoulder strap is known and is used for bags, women's underwear, backpacks and the like in which the width of the middle longitudinal part is increased with regard to the width of the shoulder strap parts connected on both sides.

The extended part of the shoulder strap fits purposefully on the person's shoulder and should transfer loads on a wide surface to the intended places of the shoulder in such a way as to avoid straining the nerves, vessels and sensitive parts of the skin.

This well-known shoulder strap is of a very complicated design and consists of flanges made of material sewn to each other along the edges with an expanded middle part, where two pockets of different widths are provided in the middle part, slanted towards the longitudinal axis of the ribbon and made by sewing, which are used to pick up and carry the holder in the manner of corset sticks made in the form of a parallelogram.

Holders can be made of various materials, including herringbone, plastic or also rubberized materials. In addition, these materials are also padded with sponges. Shoulder straps of this type undoubtedly provide great comfort when wearing, above all if it is a relatively heavy load and if the shoulder strap serves as a strap for backpacks, golf bags, bags for photographic equipment and the like. .

For women's underwear, and especially for bras, such a strap is too bulky and therefore too expensive, which is why it is not applicable in practice.

The invention is aimed at making a shoulder strap for the mentioned purpose according to and with the existing production methods on weaving machines for ribbons, and in addition to achieving increased wearing comfort with the shoulder strap.

The invention is characterized by a combination of the following properties, namely:

- that the shoulder strap consists of elastic longitudinal threads and transverse threads woven across them in a known manner;

- that on the middle longitudinal part of the shoulder strap, the distance between the longitudinal threads has been increased with regard to the distance between the longitudinal threads of the middle part of the connected parts of the shoulder strap;

- that the number of transverse threads per unit length in the middle longitudinal part is greater than that in the core longitudinal part of the shoulder straps attached on both sides.

Thanks to the proposal in connection with the invention, it is possible with the existing technology on weaving machines for ribbons to produce such straps with high wearing comfort for women's underwear, although the ribbons are partly also made of elastic threads.

In spite of the extended central part, in which the number of longitudinal threads is not greater than in the narrower, connected part of the shoulder straps, and that it remains sufficiently stable and strong, it is also planned that the number of transverse threads per unit length in the longitudinal central part should be by approx. 50 % of the number of transverse threads per unit length in the middle part of the connected parts of the strap.

The drawing shows, in plan view, a spread shoulder strap of length L with a length of the middle part M and shoulder straps A and C attached to it on both sides. As can be seen from the figure, the width B of the longitudinal middle part of the shoulder strap M is greater than the width b of the shoulder straps A attached on both sides. and C. The longitudinal strands K, which are only schematically indicated, can elastically change position. The elasticity of these longitudinal threads K results from the applicable material for making it or from the particularity of the type of threads themselves.

Transversal to the longitudinally laid threads K, there are no transverse threads shown here in the loom.

From the schematic representation, it can be seen that in the middle longitudinal part M of the strap, the distance between the longitudinal threads is greater than the distance between the longitudinal threads in the narrow middle part M of the two-sided connected parts of the straps A and B. In this case, the number of transverse threads per unit length is 1 in the core longitudinal area M larger than those in the middle area M of the two-sided attached shoulder strap parts A and C, especially larger by about 50%.

The ratio of the total length of the shoulder strap L to the length of the extended middle part is approx. 3.5. The ratio of the width B of the middle part M to the width b of both sides of the attached parts of the straps A and C is approx. 1.2. The lengths of the shoulder strap parts A and C connected on both sides to the extended middle strap part M are of different sizes.

Thanks to the measures related to the invention, it is possible to make a shoulder strap, which is widened at the point of contact (shoulder), so that the surface of contact is larger, while the elasticity of the tape in all parts remains practically the same.

A strap for women's underwear, especially a strap for a bra, where the width (B) of the core longitudinal part (M) is increased to the width (b) of the parts of the strap (A, C) attached to it on both sides, indicated by, - that the shoulder strap consists of elastic longitudinal threads and transverse threads woven across them in the known manner; - that on the middle longitudinal part (M) of the shoulder strap, the distance between the longitudinal threads (K) has been increased with regard to the distance between the longitudinal threads of the middle part (M) of the attached parts of the shoulder strap (A, C); - that the number of transverse threads per unit length (I) on the middle longitudinal part (M) is greater than that - in the middle longitudinal part (M) of the shoulder strap parts (A, C) connected on both sides. 2. Shoulder straps according to patent claim 1, characterized by the fact that the number of transverse threads per unit of length (I) in the middle longitudinal part (M) is approximately 50% greater than the number of transverse threads per unit of length (I) attached to the middle part on both sides of shoulder strap parts (A,C). 3.
