Claims (9)
1. Kuglasti ventil koji mjeri protok fluida (20, 120), koji sadrži:
kućište (22, 122), koje ima ulazni (24, 124) i izlazni (26, 126) otvor i komoru ventila (28, 128);
kuglu (40, 140), koja se nalazi unutar komore ventila, gdje navedena kugla ima otvor (42, 142);
aktuator (44, 144), kojeg nosi navedeno kućište i spojen je s navedenom kuglom radi okretanja kugle unutar navedenog kućišta između otvorenog položaja koji omogućuje protok fluida kroz otvor (42) i zatvorenog položaja koji sprječava protok fluida;
prvi ultrazvučni pretvarač (66, 166), smješten u navedenom kućištu (22, 122) uzvodno od navedene kugle;
drugi ultrazvučni pretvarač (68, 168), smješten u navedenom kućištu (22, 122) nizvodno od navedene kugle;
prvi (84, 184) i drugi akustični reflektori (86, 186), smješteni unutar kućišta;
upravljač (70, 170), spojen s navedenim prvim i drugim ultrazvučnim pretvaračem,
pri čemu su navedeni prvi i drugi ultrazvučni pretvarač i prvi i drugi akustični reflektor poravnani radi odašiljanja i reflektiranja ultrazvučnih signala u najmanje jednom smjeru kroz otvor kugle kada je kugla u otvorenom položaju, a navedeni upravljač je konfiguriran za određivanje brzine fluida na osnovi izmjerene brzine zvuka i izračunavanje volumena fluida koji prolazi kroz otvor na osnovi izmjerene brzine fluida i površine poprečnog presjeka otvora,
naznačen time što
kućište (22, 122) sadrži tijelo ventila (30, 130) i krajnji adapter (32, 132), spojeni zajedno i konfigurirani da tvore ulazni otvor, izlazni otvor i komoru ventila, te
pri čemu svako od navedenog tijela i krajnjeg adaptera sadrži kalibrirane navoje (190) za montiranje krajnjeg adaptera na tijelo i oznake za poravnavanje (192) na tijelu i krajnjem adapteru kada poravnavanje ukaže da su ultrazvučni pretvarači i akustični reflektori poravnani.
2. Kuglasti ventil koji mjeri protok fluida (20, 120) u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 1, pri čemu navedeni aktuator sadrži vreteno (45), spojeno s navedenim kuglastim ventilom i senzorom temperature kojeg nosi navedeno vreteno, spojenim s navedenim upravljačem i konfiguriranim za mjerenje temperature fluida.
3. Kuglasti ventil koji mjeri protok fluida (20, 120) u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 1, pri čemu navedeni prvi i drugi akustični reflektor (84, 86) sadrže uzvodni i nizvodni okomiti nosač montiran unutar kućišta koje sadrži površinu akustičnog reflektora konfiguriranu za reflektiranje akustičnih signala bilo u akustični pretvarač ili u površinu akustičnog reflektora ovisno o smjeru odašiljanja ultrazvučnih signala.
4. Kuglasti ventil koji mjeri protok fluida (20, 120) u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 1, pri čemu svaki od navedenog prvog i drugog akustičnog reflektora (184, 186) sadrži obrađenu površinu integriranu unutar unutarnje površine kućišta koja je kalibrirana za reflektiranje ultrazvučnih signala u akustični pretvarač ili površinu akustičnog reflektora ovisno o smjeru odašiljanja ultrazvučnih signala.
5. Kuglasti ventil koji mjeri protok fluida (20, 120) u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 4, koji dodatno sadrži površinu trećeg akustičnog reflektora (187), tako kalibriranu s površinama prvog i drugog akustičnog reflektora da reflektira ultrazvučne signale i osigurava višestruke refleksije.
6. Kuglasti ventil koji mjeri protok fluida (20, 120) u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 1, pri čemu svaki od navedenog prvog i drugog ultrazvučnog pretvarača sadrži odašiljački i prijemni krug konfiguriran za odašiljanje i primanje ultrazvučnih signala, a navedeni upravljač je konfiguriran za određivanje brzina fluida na osnovi vremena proleta ili Dopplerovog učinka.
7. Kuglasti ventil koji mjeri protok fluida (20, 120) u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 1, pri čemu navedeni aktuator sadrži pogonski mehanizam, a navedeni upravljač je integriran unutar navedenog aktuatora, spojen s navedenim pogonskim mehanizmom i konfiguriran za aktuiranje pogonskog mehanizma radi okretanja navedene kugle između otvorenog, zatvorenog ili međupoložaja.
8. Kuglasti ventil koji mjeri protok fluida (20, 120) u skladu s patentnim zahtjevom 1, pri čemu navedeni upravljač sadrži memoriju koja ima karakteristike upotrebe vode konfigurirane za svaki uređaj u zgradi koja ima vodni sustav na kojeg je vezan kuglasti ventil koji mjeri protok fluida i konfiguriran za mjerenje potrošnje vode unutar zgrade.
9. Sustav za upravljanje protokom vode za zgradu, gdje navedena zgrada sadrži:
vodni sustav i više uređaja vezanih na vodni sustav; i
kuglasti ventil koji mjeri protok fluida (20, 120) u skladu s bilo kojim od prethodnih patentnih zahtjeva i uključen je u vodni sustav.
