Claims (21)

1. Postupak za transformaciju biomase u najmanje jedan biougljen, koji se sastoji od sljedećih koraka: (a) dostupna je mljevena i osušena biomasa, pri čemu navedena biomasa sadrži najmanje 30 % lignocelulozne biomase, po masi u odnosu na suhu masu mljevene i osušene biomase, pri čemu je navedena biomasa u obliku čestica homogenih dimenzija i ima sadržaj vlage blizu 0; (b) ova biomasa se postupno zagrijava na temperaturu veću od 140°C i nižu od 350°C, u struji plina bez kisika, pod tlakom između 1 i 40 bara; (c) reakcija se ostavlja da se odvija uz održavanje temperature u rasponu od 300-700°C i tlaka u rasponu od 1-40 bara, (d) biomasa dobivena iz (c) se hladi na temperaturu od najviše 100°C, u struji plina bez kisika, i (e) biougljen se izvlači.
2. Postupak prema patentnom zahtjevu 1, naznačen time što se kao dodatni proizvod dobiva zapaljivi plin.
3. Postupak prema patentnom zahtjevu 1 ili 2, naznačen time što je mljevena biomasa u obliku čestica od kojih se najmanje 50 % težine u odnosu na osušenu masu sastoji od čestica čija je najmanja dimenzija najmanje 0,5 mm.
4. Postupak prema patentnom zahtjevu 3, naznačen time što je mljevena biomasa u obliku čestica od kojih se najmanje 50 % težine u odnosu na osušenu masu sastoji od čestica čija je najmanja dimenzija najmanje 0,5 mm, i čija je najveća dimenzija najviše 40 mm.
5. Postupak prema bilo kojem od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 4, naznačen time što se korak (b) provodi u dva pod-koraka, korak (b1) prema kojem se biomasa prethodno zagrijava na temperaturu veću od 120°C i korak (b2) prema kojem se biomasa prethodno zagrijana u koraku (b1) zagrijava na temperaturu višu od 220°C.
6. Postupak prema patentnom zahtjevu 5, naznačen time što se korak (b1) provodi na temperaturi postavljenoj između 180 i 220°C.
7. Postupak prema patentnom zahtjevu 5 ili 6, naznačen time što se korak (b2) provodi na temperaturi postavljenoj između 240 i 300°C.
8. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih patentnih zahtjeva, naznačen time što se korak (b) provodi pri tlaku koji varira od 3 do 14 bara.
9. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih patentnih zahtjeva, naznačen time što se u koraku (c) temperatura održava između 350 i 500°C.
10. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih patentnih zahtjeva, naznačen time što se koraci (b) ili (b1) i (b2), (c) i (d) provode u najmanje dva različita odjeljka i postupak je kontinuiran.
11. Postupak prema patentnom zahtjevu 10, naznačen time što se korak (b1) provodi u prvom odjeljku, pri čemu je navedeni prvi odjeljak opremljen sredstvima za predgrijavanje konvekcijom i/ili u fluidiziranom sloju.
12. Postupak prema patentnom zahtjevu 11, naznačen time što se korak (b2) provodi u drugom odjeljku, pri čemu je navedeni drugi odjeljak opremljen sredstvima za grijanje zračenjem.
13. Postupak prema patentnom zahtjevu 12, naznačen time što se korak (c) provodi u trećem odjeljku, pri čemu je navedeni odjeljak opremljen sredstvima za kontrolu temperature i tlaka.
14. Postupak prema patentnom zahtjevu 13, naznačen time što se korak (d) provodi u četvrtom odjeljku, pri čemu je navedeni odjeljak opremljen konvekcijskim i/ili kondukcijskim sredstvima za hlađenje.
15. Postupak prema patentnom zahtjevu 13 ili 14, naznačen time što se toplina emitirana reakcijom u koraku (c) u trećem odjeljku obnavlja i reciklira u jednom ili oba prvom i drugom odjeljku i/ili da se koristi za sušenje biomase potrebne u koraku (a).
16. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih patentnih zahtjeva, naznačen time što se plinovi koji nastaju u koracima (b) i (c) ponovno cirkuliraju uzvodno od smjera postupka, suprotno od struje materijala.
17. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih patentnih zahtjeva, naznačen time što je biomasa lignocelulozna biomasa koja sadrži najmanje jedan sastojak odabran od hemiceluloze, celuloze, lignina, ugljikohidrata i oligosaharida.
18. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih patentnih zahtjeva, naznačen time što se korak (b) provodi unutar kotla električne i/ili toplinske jedinice za proizvodnju.
19. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih patentnih zahtjeva, naznačen time što se može provesti u odsutnosti bilo kakvog dovoda vanjskog inertnog plina.
20. Biougljen koji se može dobiti postupkom u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 19, te navedeni biougljen ima sadržaj ugljika veći od 80 % masenog udjela i sadržaj kisika u sadržaju manjem ili jednakom 10 % masenog udjela.
21. Biougljen prema patentnom zahtjevu 20, naznačen time što ima nižu kalorijsku vrijednost (LCV) od najmanje 30 MJ/kg.
