Abstract
Princip rada morske solane s preljevnim plohama je u kontinuiranom izlaganju tankog sloja mora zračnim strujama vjetra radi dobivanja većih količina soli u što kraćem vremenu. Morska solana ima bazen (1). Iznad bazena je vertikalna kolona s jednom ili više preljevnih ploha (4) i (8). Preljevne plohe mogu biti, međusobno i u odnosu na bazen, paralelne ili pod suprotnim nagibom. Korištenjem preljevnih ploha u više slojeva omogućava se veći i češći dodir mora sa zračnim strujama vjetra. Preljevne plohe imaju preklopne bočne stjenke (6) i (10) za odvod kišnice (13) izvan bazena. Za dovod svježeg mora i održavanje stalne cirkulacije mora preko preljevnih ploha koriste se pumpe s cijevnim razvodom. Najekonomičniji pogon za pumpe, s obzirom na lokaciju solane, bio bi vjetar. Način izvedbe morske solane s preljevnim plohama ovisi o konfiguraciji terena radi što boljeg iskorištenja smjera i jačine vjetra. Najpovoljnije lokacije su strme obale i usjeci. Cijeli postupak dobivanja soli u solanama s preljevnim plohama može se automatizirati korištenjem poznatih elemenata elektronike i automatizacije.
