Description
Ovaj se izum odnosi na sinergističku herbicidnu mješavinu koja sadrži
A) najmanje jedan 3-heterociklil-supstituirani benzoil derivat koji odgovara formuli I

u kojoj varijable imaju slijedeća značenja:
R1, R3 predstavljaju halogen, C1-C6-alkil, C1-C6-haloalkil, C1-C6-alkoksi, C1-C6-haloalkoksi, C1-C6-alkiltio, C1-C6-alkilsulfinil ili C1-C6-alkilsulfonil;
R2 predstavlja heterociklički radikal odabran iz grupe koja se sastoji od: izoksazol-3-il, izoksazol-4-il, izoksazol-5-il, 4,5-dihidro-izoksazol-3-il, 4,5-dihidroizoksazol-4-il i 4,5-dihidroizoksazol-5-il, pri čemu je moguće da da šest spomenutih radikala budu nesupstituirani ili mono- ili polisupstituirani s: halogen, C1-C4-alkil, C1-C4-alkoksi, C1-C4-haloalkil, C1-C4-haloalkoksi ili C1-C4-alkiltio;
R4 predstavlja vodik, halogen ili C1-C6-alkil;
R5 predstavlja C1-C6-alkil;
R6 predstavlja vodik ili C1-C6-alkil;
ili jednu od njegovih s obzirom na očuvanje okoliša prihvatljivih soli;
i
B) dva herbicida odabrana iz grupe koja uključuje imazapir, imazakvin, imazametabenz-metil, imazamoks, imazapik i imazetapir;
ili jednu od njegovih s obzirom na očuvanje okoliša prihvatljivih soli;
te, ako je željeno,
C) najmanje jedan herbicidni spoj iz grupe inhibitora acetil-CoA karboksilaze (ACC), inhibitora acetolaktat sintaze (ALS), amida, auksinskih herbicida, inhibitora transporta auksina, inhibitora biosinteze karotenoida, inhibitora enolpiruvilšikimat 3-fosfat sintaze (EPSPS), inhibitora glutamin sintetaze, inhibitora biosinteze lipida, inhibitora mitoze, inhibitora protoporfirinogen IX oksidaze, inhibitora fotozinteze, sinergista, tvari za poticanje rasta, inhibitora biosinteze stanične stijenke i raznih drugih herbicida;
u sinergistički učinkovitoj količini.
Izum se nadalje odnosi na herbicidne mješavine koje sadrže herbicidno djelatnu količinu sinergističke herbicidne mješavine kao što je definirano gore i najmanje jedan tekući i/ili kruti prijenosnik te, ako je željeno, najmanje jedan surfaktant.
Još k tome, izum se odnosi na postupke za pripravljanje tih mješavina i na metodu suzbijanja neželjene vegetacije.
Kod proizvoda za zaštitu usjeva uvijek je poželjno povećati specifično djelovanje djelatnog sastojka i pouzdanost djelovanja. Cilj je ovog izuma povećati djelovanje i/ili selektivnost herbicidno djelatnih 3-heterociklil-supstituiranih benzoil derivata koji odgovaraju formuli I, protiv nepoželjnih štetnih biljaka.
Pronašli smo da je taj cilj postignut pomoću mješavina definiran na početku. Nadalje smo pronašli herbicidne mješavine koje sadrže te mješavine, postupke za njihovo pripravljanje, i metode suzbijanja neželjene vegetacije. U zadnje spomenutim slučajevima nije važno da li se herbicidno djelatni spojevi sastojaka A), B) te, ako je željeno, C) formuliraju i primijenjuju zajedno ili odvojeno i kojim redom se primijenjuju u slučaju odvojene primjene.
Mješavine u skladu s izumom pokazuju sinergistički učinak; kompatibilnost herbicidno djelatnih spojeva sastojaka A), B) te, ako je željeno, C) za određene usjevne biljke je opčenito zadržana.
Prikladni sastojci C su, kao inhibitori acetil-CoA karboksilaze(ACC), na primjer, cikloheksenon oksim eteri, esteri fenoksifenoksipropionske kiseline, ili arilaminopropionske kiseline. Inhibitori acetolaktat sintaze (ALS) uključuju, inter alia, imidazolinone, pirimidil etere, sulfonamide ili sulfonil uree. Relevantni auksinski herbicidi su, inter alia, piridin karboksilne kiseline, 2,4-D ili benazolin. Inhibitori biosinteze lipida koji se koriste su, inter alia, anilidi, kloracetanilidi, tiouree, benfuresat ili perfluidon. Prikladni inhibitori mitoze su, inter alia, karbamati, dinitroanilini, piridini, butamifos, klortaldimetil (DCPA) ili hidrazid maleinske kiseline. Primjeri inhibitora protoporfirinogen IX oksidaze su, inter alia, difenil eteri, oksadiazoli, ciklički imidi ili pirazoli. Prikladni inhibitori fotozinteze su, inter alia, propanil, piridat, piridafol, benzotiadiazinoni, dinitrofenoli, dipiridileni, uree, fenoli, kloridazon, triazin, triazinon, uracili ili biskarbamati. Sinergisti su, inter alia, oksirani. Primjeri prikladnih tvari za poticanje rasta su ariloksialkanske kiseline, benzojeve kiseline ili kinolinkarboksilne kiseline. Grupu "razni drugi herbicidi" treba shvatiti kao da označuje, inter alia, razrede djelatnih sastojaka diklorpropionskih kiselina, dihidrobenzofurana, feniloctenih kiselina i pojedinačnih herbicida spomenutih dolje, a čiji mehanizam djelovanja nije (potpuno) shvaćen.
Drugi prikladni sastojci C predstavljaju djelatne spojeve odabrane iz grupe koja se sastoji od: amidi, inhibitori transporta auksina, inhibitori karotenske biosinteze, inhibitori enolpiruvilšikimat 3–fosfat sintaze (EPSPS), inhibitori glutamin sintetaze i inhibitori sinteze stanične stijenke.
Primjeri herbicida koji se mogu koristiti u kombinaciji s 3-heterociklil-supstituiranim benzoil derivatima formule I i spojem formule II u skladu s ovim izumom su, inter alia:
C1 inhibitori acetil-CoA karboksilaze(ACC), na primjer
- cikloheksenon oksim eteri, kao što je aloksidim, kletodim, kloproksidim, cikloksidim, setoksidim, tralkoksidim, butroksidim, klefoksidim ili tepraloksidim;
- esteri fenoksifenoksipropionske kiseline, kao što je klodinafop-propargil (te, ako je prikladno, klokvintocet), cihalofop-butil, diklofop-metil, fenoksaprop-etil, fenoksaprop-P-etil, fentiapropetil, fluazifop-butil, fluazifop-P-butil, haloksifop-etoksietil, haloksifop-metil, haloksifop-P-metil, izoksapirifop, propakvizafop, kvizalofop-etil, kvizalofop-P-etil ili kvizalofop-tefuril; ili
- arilaminopropionske kiseline, kao što je flamprop-metil ili flamprop-izopropil;
C2 inhibitori acetolaktat sintaze (ALS), na primjer

Spoj "karfenstrol (CH-900)" se spominje u EP-A 332 133, a spoj N-[[[4-metoksi-6-(trifluormetil)-1,3,5-triazin-2-il]amino]-karbonil]-2-(trifluormetil-benzensulfonamid) je opisan u PCT/EP 96/03996.
Pridruživanje djelatnih sastojaka odgovarajućim mehanizmima djelovanja je zasnovano na trenutno raspoloživom znanju. Ako se na jedan djelatni sastojak odnose različiti mehanizmi djelovanja, ta je tvar pridružena samo jednom načinu djelovanja.
3-heterociklil-supstituirani benzoil derivati koji odgovaraju formuli I mogu postojati, ili se mogu koristiti, u obliku čistih enantiomera i također kao racemati ili diastereomerne mješavine.
3-heterociklil-supstituirani benzoil derivati koji odgovaraju formuli I i/ili herbicidno djelatni spojevi iz grupe B i/ili herbicidno djelatni spojevi među grupama C1 do C16 mogu također postojati u obliku njihovih s obzirom na očuvanje okoliša kompatibilnih soli. Prikladne soli predstavljaju, općenito, soli onih kationa, ili kisele adicijske soli tih kiselina, čiji kationi, odnosno anioni, ne utječu štetno na herbicidno djelovanje djelatnih sastojaka.
Prikladni kationi su, osobito, ioni alkalijskih metala, preferiraju se litijevi, natrijevi i kalijevi, zemno alkalijskih metala, preferiraju se kalcijevi i magnezijevi, te prijelaznih metala, preferiraju se manganovi, bakrovi, cinkovi i željezovi, te također amonijevi, pri čemu je moguće u tom slučaju, ako je željeno, da se jedan do četiri vodikova atoma zamijene s: C1-C4-alkil, hidroksi-C1-C4-alkil, C1-C4-alkoksi-C1-C4-alkil, hidroksi-C1-C4-alkoksi-C1-C4-alkil, fenil ili benzil, preferira se amonijak, izopropilamonijak, dimetilamonijak, diizopropilamonijak, tetrametilamonijak, tetrabutilamonijak, 2-(2-hidroksiet-1-oksi)et-1-il amonijak, di(2-hidroksiet-1-il)amonijak, trimetilbenzilamonijak, nadalje fosfonij ioni, sulfonij ioni, preferira se tri(C1-C4-alkil)sulfonij i sulfoksonij ioni, preferira se tri(C1-C4-alkil)sulfoksonij.
Anioni prikladnih kiselih adicijskih soli su u glavnom klorid, bromid, fluorid, hidrogen sulfat, sulfat, digidrogen fosfat, hidrogen fosfat, nitrat, hidrogen karbonat, karbonat, heksafluorsilikat, heksafluorfosfat, benzoat i anioni C1-C4-alkanskih kiselina, preferira se formijat, acetat, propionat i butirat.
S obzirom na sinergističko herbicidno djelovanje mješavina u skladu s izumom, preferiraju se oni 3-heterociklil-supstituirani benzoil derivati koji odgovaraju formuli I u kojoj varijable imaju slijedeća značenja, bilo same ili u kombinaciji:
R1 halogen kao što je klor ili brom, C1-C6-alkil kao što je metil ili etil ili C1-C6-alkilsulfonil kao što je metilsulfonil ili etilsulfonil;
posebno se preferira klor, metil ili metilsulfonil;
R2 heterociklički radikal odabran iz grupe koja se sastoji od: izoksazol-3-il, izoksazol-5-il i 4,5-dihidroizoksazol-3-il, pri čemu je moguće da tri spomenuta radikala budu nesupstituirani ili mono- ili polisupstituirani s: halogen, C1-C4-alkil, C1-C4-alkoksi, C1-C4-haloalkil, C1-C4-haloalkoksi ili C1-C4-alkiltio;
posebno se preferira izoksazol-5-il, 3-metil-izoksazol-5-il, 4,5-dihidroizoksazol-3-il, 5-metil-4,5-dihidroizoksazol-il, 5-etil-4,5-dihidroizoksazol-3–il ili 4,5-dimetil-4,5-dihidroizoksazol-3-il;
R3 halogen kao što je klor ili brom ili C1-C6-alkilsulfonil kao što je metilsulfonil ili etilsulfonil;
posebno se preferira klor, metilsulfonil ili etil-sulfonil;
R4 vodik ili metil;
posebno se preferira vodik;
R5 predstavlja C1-C6-alkil, kao što je metil, etil, propil, 1-metiletil, butil, 1-metilpropil ili 2-metilpropil;
posebno se preferira metil, etil ili 1-metiletil;
R6 vodik ili C1-C6-alkil, kao što je metil ili etil;
posebno se preferira vodik ili metil.
Vrlo se osobito preferiraju oni 3-heterociklil-supstituirani benzoil derivati koji odgovaraju formuli Ia, osobito spojevi Ia.1 do Ia.47, koji su spomenuti u tablici 1 koja slijedi:

S obzirom na sinergističko herbicidno djelovanje mješavina u skladu s izumom preferiraju se one mješavine koje sadrže kao sastojak B) imazapir i imazetapir, ili imazapir i imazapik; posebno se preferiraju one mješavine koje sadrže kao sastojak B) imazapir i imazetapir.
U daljnjem preferiranom aspektu, sinergistička herbicidna mješavina sadrži tri herbicidno djelatna spoja: spoj formule I (sastojak A) i dva herbicida odabrana iz grupe koja uključuje: imazapir, imazakvin, imazametabenz-metil, imazamoks, imazapik i imazetapir (sastojak B).
- Za osobito preferirane aspekte se gore opisane pojedine prednosti analogno primijenjuju.

Posebno, sinergistička herbicidna mješavina sadrži kao sastojak A 4-[2-metil-3-(4,5-dihidroizoksazol-3-il)-4-metilsulfonil-benzoil]-1-metil-5-hidroksi-1H-pirazol i kao sastojak B) imazapir i imazetapir.

C) najmanje jedan herbicidni spoj iz grupe inhibitora acetil-CoA karboksilaze (ACC), inhibitora acetolaktat sintaze (ALS), amida, auksinskih herbicida, inhibitora transporta auksina, inhibitora biosinteze karotenoida, inhibitora enolpiruvil-šikimat 3-fosfat sintaze (EPSPS), inhibitora glutamin sintetaze, inhibitora biosinteze lipida, inhibitora mitoze, inhibitora protoporfirinogen IX oksidaze, inhibitora fotozinteze, sinergista, tvari za poticanje rasta, inhibitora biosinteze stanične stijenke i raznih drugih herbicida.
Imajući na umu sinergističko herbicidno djelovanje mješavina koje sadrže sastojak A), B) i C) u skladu s izumom, spojevi među grupama C1 do C14 ili C16, preferira se među grupama C9 i C12, se preferiraju kao sastojak C).
Osobito se preferiraju spojevi među dolje spomenutim razredima djelatnih sastojaka, ili se slijedeći spojevi vrlo osobito preferiraju:
C1 inhibitori acetil-CoA karboksilaze(ACC):
- cikloheksenon oksim eteri, osobito cikloksidim, setoksidim ili tralkoksidim, preferira se setoksidim ili tralkoksidim; ili

Također osobito se preferiraju sinergističke herbicidne mješavine koje sadrže kao sastojak A 4-[2-metil-3-(4,5-dihidroizoksazol-3-il)-4-metilsulfonil-benzoil]-1-metil-5-hidroksi-1H-pirazol; kao sastojak B imazapir i imazapik; i kao sastojak C benzotiadiazinon, posebno bentazon.
Ovaj se izum također proteže na herbicidne mješavine koje sadrže herbicidno djelatnu količinu sinergističke herbicidne mješavine (koja sadrži sastojke A), B) te, ako je željeno, C) kao što je opisano gore), najmanje jedan tekući i/ili kruti prijenosnik te, ako je željeno, najmanje jedan surfaktant.
Herbicidne mješavine i sinergističke herbicidne mješavine u skladu s izumom mogu izvršiti vrlo dobro suzbijanje širokolisnih korova i korova trava u usjevima kao što je kukuruz, žitarice, riža i soja bez da našteti usjevnim biljkama, a koji je učinak opažen posebno čak i kod upotrebe malih količina za primjenu.
Uzimajući u obzir razne metode primjene o kojima se radi, herbicidne mješavine i sinergističke herbicidne mješavine u skladu s izumom se mogu dodatno koristiti kod daljnjih brojnih usjevnih biljaka za uklanjanje nepoželjnih biljaka. Primjeri prikladnih usjeva su slijedeći:

Još k tome, herbicidne mješavine i sinergističke herbicidne mješavine u skladu s izumom se također mogu koristiti kod usjeva koji toleriraju djelovanje herbicida zahvaljujući selektivnom uzgoju, uključujući metode genetičkog inženjeringa.
Mješavine u skladu s izumom, ili herbicidne mješavine koje ih sadrže, mogu se koristiti, na primjer, u obliku vodenih otopina koje se mogu izravno raspršivati, prašaka, suspenzija, također visoko-koncentriranih vodenih, uljnih ili drugih suspenzija ili disperzija, emulzija, uljnih disperzija, pasta, prahova, materijala za prekrivanje ili granula, pomoću raspršivanja, atomiziranja, prašenja, prekrivanja ili zalijevanja.
Oblici za korištenje zavise o namjenama za koje se namjeravaju koristiti; u svakom slučaju, oni trebaju osigurati najbolje moguće raspoređivanje djelatnih spojeva u skladu s izumom.
Prikladne inertne pomoćne tvari su frakcije mineralnog ulja srednje visoke do visoke točke vrenja, kao što je kerozin i dizelsko ulje, nadalje ulja ugljenog katrana i ulja biljnog i životinjskog porijekla, alifatski, ciklički i aromatski ugljikovodici, na primjer parafini, tetrahidronaftalen, alkilirani naftaleni i njihovi derivati, alkilirani benzeni i njihovi derivati, alkoholi kao što je metanol, etanol, propanol, butanol i cikloheksanol, ketoni kao što je cikloheksanon, jaka polarna otapala, kao što je N-metilpirolidon i voda.
Vodeni oblici za korištenje se mogu pripraviti iz koncentrata emulzije, suspenzija, pasta, prašaka koji se mogu vlažiti ili granula koje se mogu dispergirati u vodi, dodavanjem vode. Za pripravljanje emulzija, pasta ili uljnih disperzija, tvari kao takve ili otopljene u ulju ili otapalu, mogu se homogenizirati u vodi pomoću okvašivaća (tvari za močenje), vezive tvari, disperzanta ili emulzifikatora. Moguće je, ipak, pripraviti koncentrate koji se sastoje od djelatne tvari, okvašivaća, vezive tvari, disperzanta ili emulzifikatora te, ako je prikladno, otapala ili ulja, te su ti koncentrati prikladni za razrijeđivanje s vodom.
Prikladni surfaktanti su soli alkalijskih metala, soli zemno alkalijskih metala i amonijeve soli aromatskih sulfonskih kiselina, na primjer ligno-, fenol-, naftalen- i dibutilnaftalensulfonske kiseline, te masnih kiselina, alkil- i alkilaril sulfonata, alkil sulfata, lauril eter sulfata i sulfata masnih alkohola, soli sulfatiranih heksa-, hepta- i oktadekanola i glikol etera masnog alkohola, kondenzati sulfoniranog naftalena i njegovih derivata s formaldehidom, kondenzati naftalena ili naftalensulfonskih kiselina s fenolom i formaldehidom, polioksietilen oktilfenil eter, etoksilirani izooktil-, oktil- ili nonilfenol, alkilfenil i tributilfenil poliglikol eter, alkilaril polieter alkoholi, izotridecil alkohol, kondenzati masni alkohol/etilen oksid, etoksilirano ricinusovo ulje, polioksietilen alkil eteri ili polioksipropilen alkil eteri, acetat lauril alkohol poliglikol etera, sorbitol esteri, ligninsulfit otpadne tekućine ili metilceluloza.
Prašci, materijali za prekrivanje i prahovi se mogu pripraviti miješanjem ili istovremenim mljevenjem sinergističke herbicidne mješavine ili pojedinačnih djelatnih tvari s krutim prijenosnikom.
Granule, na primjer presvućene granule, impregnirane granule i homogene granule, mogu se pripraviti vezanjem djelatnih sastojaka na krute prijenosnike. Kruti prijenosnici su mineralne zemlje kao što su zemlje kremenjače, silika gelovi, silikati, talk, kaolin, vapnenac, vapno, kreda, bole (bolus), lapor, glina, dolomit, dijatomejska zemlja, kalcijev sulfat, magnezijev sulfat, magnezijev oksid, mljeveni sintetski materijali, gnojiva kao što je amonijev sulfat, amonijev fosfat, amonijev nitrat, uree i proizvodi biljnog porijekla kao što je brašno žitarica, brašno kore drveta, drveno brašno i brašno ljuske orašastih plodova, celulozni prašci ili drugi kruti prijenosnici.
Koncentracije mješavina u skladu s izumom u pripravcima spremnima za upotrebu, mogu varirati unutar širokih raspona. Općenito, formulacije sadrže od 0.01 do 95% mase, preferira se od 0.5 do 90% mase, mješavine u skladu s izumom.
Sastojci A) i B) te, ako je željeno, C) mogu biti formulirani zajedno, ali također i odvojeno, i/ili biti primijenjeni na biljke, njihov okoliš i/ili sjemenke zajedno ili odvojeno. Preferira se primijeniti djelatne sastojke istovremeno. Ipak je također moguće primijeniti ih odvojeno.
Također dva herbicida sastojka B) mogu biti formulirana zajedno, ali također i odvojeno, i/ili mogu biti primijenjeni na biljke, njihov okoliš i/ili sjemenke zajedno ili odvojeno.
Još k tome, može biti prednosno primijeniti herbicidne mješavine i sinergističke herbicidne mješavine u skladu s izumom, zajedno ili odvojeno, s dodatnim drugim sredstvima za zaštitu usjeva, na primjer s pesticidima ili sredstvima za suzbijanje fitopatogenih gljiva ili bakterija. Također je od interesa mogućnost miješanja s otopinama mineralnih soli koje se koriste za tretiranje nedostataka hranjivih tvari i elemenata u tragovima. Nefitotoksična ulja i uljni koncentrati se također mogu dodati.
Mješavine u skladu s izumom i herbicidne mješavine mogu se primijeniti prije («pre-emergence») ili poslije nicanja («post-emergence»). Ako su djelatni spojevi slabije tolerirani od strane određenih usjevnih biljaka, moguće je koristiti tehnike primjene u kojima su herbicidne smjese raspršivane uz pomoć raspršivaća na takav način da oni dolaze što manje u kontakt, ako uopće, s listovima osjetljivih usjevnih biljaka, dok dopiru do listova neželjenih biljaka koje rastu ispod njih ili do nepokrivene površine supstrata ("post-directed", "lay-by").
U slučaju tretiranja biljaka nakon nicanja, herbicidne mješavine u skladu s izumom se, preferira se, primjenjuju na biljke folijarnom primjenom. Primjena se može provesti, na primjer, uobičajenim tehnikama za raspršivanje korištenjem vode kao prijenosnika, korištenjem količina mješavine za raspršivanje od približno 100 do 1 000 l/ha. Mješavine se također mogu primijeniti pomoću tako zvanih metoda «malog volumena» i «ultra malog volumena», ili u obliku tako zvanih granula.
U pravilu, sinergističke herbicidne mješavine sadrže sastojke A), B) te, ako je željeno, C) u takvim masenim omjerima da dolazi do sinergističkog učinka.
Omjeri sastojaka A) i B) u mješavini, preferira se, variraju od 1:0.001 do 1:500, preferira se od 1:0.01 do 1:100, osobito se preferira od 1:0.1 do 1:50.
Omjeri sastojaka A) i C) u mješavini, preferira se, variraju od 1:0.002 do 1:800, preferira se od 1:0.003 do 1:250, posebno od 1:0.003 do 1:160, posebno se preferira od 1:0.02 do 1:250, posebno se preferira od 1:0.02 do 1:160.
Količina za primjenu čiste sinergističke herbicidne mješavine, drugim riječima bez dodatnih tvari koje se koriste za formuliranje, iznosi 0.2 do 5000 g/ha, posebno 1 do 2000 g/ha, preferira se 2 do 2000 g/ha, osobito 8 do 1500 g/ha, djelatne tvari (d.t.), zavisno o željenom cilju, godišnjem dobu, ciljanim biljkama i stadiju razvoja.
Količina za primjenu 3-heterociklil-supstituiranog benzoil derivata koji odgovara formuli I iznosi 0.1 do 250 g/ha, u pravilu 0.5 do 250 g/ha, posebno od 5 do 250 g/ha, preferira se 10 do 150 g/ha, djelatne tvari (d.t.).
Preferirana količina za primjenu sastojka B) iznosi 0.1 do 250 g/ha, u pravilu 0.5 do 120 g/ha, posebno od 1 do 120 g/ha, preferira se 10 do 100 g/ha, djelatne tvari (d.t.)
Preferirane količine za primjenu djelatnih sastojaka opcionalnog sastojka C) su sabrane u tablici 2.

Primjeri korištenja
Mješavine u skladu s izumom su bile primijenjene prije nicanja «pre-emergence» i/ili poslije nicanja «post-emergence» (folijarno tretiranje). Herbicidni spojevi sastojka B te, ako je željeno, sastojka C su bili primijenjeni u formulaciji u kojoj su prisutni kao komercijalno dostupni proizvod.
Herbicidno djelatni spojevi sastojaka A), B) te, ako je željeno, C) su bili primijenjeni jedni za drugima ili zajedno, u potonjem slučaju u nekim slučajevima kao mješavina iz spremnika, a u nekim slučajevima kao gotova mješavina, u obliku emulzija, vodenih otopina ili suspenzija, pri čemu je prijenosnik voda (300 – 400 l/ha). U slučaju ispitivanja na terenu, primjena je sprovedena uz pomoć pokretnog planskog («plot») raspršivaća.
Period ispitivanja se protegnuo kroz tri do osam tjedana, a stanje je također bilo promatrano i kasnije.
Šteta učinjena od strane herbicidnih mješavina je bila procijenjena s obzirom na skalu od 0 do 100%, u usporedbi s netretiranim kontrolnim parcelama. Vrijednost 0 znači da nije bilo štete a 100 označuje potpuno uništenje biljaka.
Slijedeći će primjeri pokazati djelovanje herbicidne mješavine koja se može koristiti u skladu s izumom, bez da se isključuje mogućnost drugačijih upotreba.
U tim primjerima je korištenjem metode S. R. Colby (Calculating synergistic and antagonistic responses of herbicide combinations", Weeds 15, 20 pp (1967)), bila izračunata vrijednost E pri kojoj bi se očekivao samo dodatni učinak pojedinačnih djelatnih sastojaka.

Herbicidne mješavine u skladu s izumom ispoljavaju veće herbicidno djelovanje nego bi se trebalo očekivati u skladu s Colby-jevom formulom na osnovi opaženih učinaka pojedinačnih sastojaka kada se koriste sami.
Rezultati ispitivanja su prikazani u Tablicama 3 do 17 dolje.

Sinergističku herbicidnu mješavinu kao što je zahtjevano u zahtjevu 12, a koja je naznačena time da sadrži, kao sastojak A) 4-[2-metil-3-(4,5-dihidroizoksazol-3-il)-4-metilsulfonil-benzoil]-1-metil-5-hidroksi-1H-pirazol; kao sastojak B) dva herbicida odabrana iz grupe koja uključuje: imazapir, imazakvin, imazametabenz-metil, imazamoks, imazapik i imazetapir; i kao sastojak C) herbicidni spoj iz grupe C9.
17. Sinergističku herbicidnu mješavinu kao što je zahtjevano u zahtjevu 12, a koja je naznačena time da sadrži, kao sastojak A) 4-[2-metil-3-(4,5-dihidroizoksazol-3-il)-4-metilsulfonil-benzoil]-1-metil-5-hidroksi-1H-pirazol, kao sastojak B) imazapir i imazetapir ili imazapik i imazapir, i kao sastojak C) kloracetanilid.
18. Sinergističku herbicidnu mješavinu kao što je zahtjevano u zahtjevu 12, a koja je naznačena time da sadrži, kao sastojak A) 4-[2-metil-3-(4,5-dihidroizoksazol-3-il)-4-metilsulfonil-benzoil]-1-metil-5-hidroksi-1H-pirazol, kao sastojak B) imazapir i imazetapir kao sastojak C) acetoklor.
19. Sinergističku herbicidnu mješavinu kao što je zahtjevano u zahtjevu 12, a koja je naznačena time da sadrži, kao sastojak A) 4-[2-metil-3-(4,5-dihidroizoksazol-3-il)-4-metilsulfonil-benzoil]-1-metil-5-hidroksi-1H-pirazol, kao sastojak B) imazapik i imazapir, i kao sastojak C) acetoklor.

Sinergističku herbicidnu mješavinu kao što je zahtjevano u zahtjevu 12, a koja je naznačena time da sadrži, kao sastojak A) 4-[2-metil-3-(4,5-dihidroizoksazol-3-il)-4-metilsulfonil-benzoil]-1-metil-5-hidroksi-1H-pirazol; kao sastojak B) dva herbicida odabrana iz grupe koja uključuje: imazapir, imazakvin, imazametabenz-metil, imazamoks, imazapik i imazetapir; i kao sastojak C) herbicidni spoj iz grupe C12.

25. Sinergističku herbicidnu mješavinu kao što je zahtjevano u zahtjevu 12, a koja je naznačena time da sadrži, kao sastojak A) 4-[2-metil-3-(4,5-dihidroizoksazol-3-il)-4-metilsulfonil-benzoil]-1-metil-5-hidroksi-1H-pirazol, kao sastojak B) imazapik i imazapir, i kao sastojak C) bentazon.
26. Sinergističku herbicidnu mješavinu kao što je zahtjevano u zahtjevu 12, a koja je naznačena time da sadrži, kao sastojak A) 4-[2-metil-3-(4,5-dihidroizoksazol-3-il)-4-metilsulfonil-benzoil]-1-metil-5-hidroksi-1H-pirazol, kao sastojak B) imazapik i imazapir kao sastojak C) atrazin.
27. Sinergističku herbicidnu mješavinu kao što je zahtjevano u bilo kojem od zahtjeva 1 do 26, a koja je naznačena time da su sastojak A) i B) prisutni u masenom omjeru od 1:0.001 do 1:500.

Metodu suzbijanja neželjene vegetacije, koja sadrži primjenjivanje sinergističke herbicidne mješavine kao što je zahtjevano u bilo kojem od zahtjeva 1 do 28, a koja je metoda naznačena time da se primijenjuje prije, za vrijeme i/ili nakon nicanja neželjenih biljaka, pri čemu je moguće da se herbicidno djelatni spojevi sastojaka A), B) te, ako je željeno, C) primijenjuju istovremeno ili jedan za drugim.
32. Metodu suzbijanja neželjene vegetacije kao što je zahtjevano u zahtjevu 31, a koja je naznačena time da se tretiraju listovi usjevnih biljaka i listovi neželjenih biljaka.
