Abstract
A thin non-aqueous secondary battery is provided to prevent the breaking of a cathode collector in a flat winding electrode body by using the cathode collector having specific thickness and strength. A thin non-aqueous secondary battery is obtained by the steps of: laminating a cathode(1) having a cathode mixture layer at one side or both sides of a cathode collector, an anode(2) and a separator(3); winding the laminated to obtain a wound electrode body(6); and sealing the wound electrode body with the electrolyte in a package(4) having a width ratio of thickness of 1.7~10.0. The cathode mixture layer has the density of 3.5 g / cm or greater and the porosity of 25% or less. The cathode collector has the thickness of 15 micrometer or less and the tensile strength of 200 N / mm or greater.
