Abstract
Device (A) for qualitative and/or quantitative detection of molecular interactions between probes (P) and target molecules (B) comprises (a) a microarray, i.e. a substrate with P immobilized on array elements, on a first surface and (b) a reaction chamber formed between the first surface and a second surface, where the spacing between the two surfaces can be varied. An independent claim is also included for a method for qualitative and/or quantitative detection of molecular interactions between probes (P) and target molecules (B) by adding a (B)-containing sample to the reaction chamber of (A) then detecting any interaction with immobilized (P).
