Abstract

The invention relates to a clamping fitting (1) for fixing glass panes (2), comprising an attachment screw (4) which fits into a bore (3) of the glass pane (2). Said attachment screw (4) is fixed in an axial direction between two tensioning elements (6, 7), said tensioning elements containing the glass pane (2), by means of a screw shaft end (5) which is widened in the bore area (3). Effective tolerance compensation occurs between the tensioning elements (6, 7) and the bore (3) in the glass pane (2), said tolerance compensation being effective orthogonally to the longitudinal axis (8) of the attachment screw (4). The first tensioning element (6) consists of a taper nut (11), said taper nut forming the screw head (9) of the attachment screw (4) and having a cup-shaped recess (10). The second tensioning element (7) consists of an adjusting nut (12) which can be screwed with the taper nut and supports the widened screw shaft end (5). The adjusting nut (12) has devices on the side facing away from the taper nut (11) for fixing the clamping fitting (1) at variable distances opposite an attachment point, for example a wall (14). An additional device included in the clamping fitting (1) for correcting inclinations is also provided close to the attachment point to ensure stress-free mounting.
