Abstract

This invention concerns a clamping fitting for securing glass panes (2). In the area of the bore (3) in the glass pane between the clamping screw (4) and the glass pane (2) provision is made for compensation of tolerance orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the clamping screw. The invention is characterized in that the clamping elements which enclose the glass pane between them are designed both as a cup-shaped conical (10) nut and as an adjusting nut which can be screwed together with the conical nut. A widened screw-shaft end (6) of the clamping screw (4) is supported against the adjusting nut (9) by means of intermediate connecting elements so that the clamping screw (4) can be moved both orthogonally in relation to the longitudinal axis of the attachment screw and axially to compensate for finishing tolerances and can be pivoted with respect to the adjusting nut.
