Abstract
The discovery of the hydrogen sulphide antidote refers to the antidote Na2CO3 or NaHCO3, which are nearly identical chemical compounds and are named correspondingly: neutral sodium carbonate or neutral soda, and sodium carbonate or acid soda in the second case. These two chemical compounds that show similarity in their achieved result of neutralisation of H2S forming in the eyes from the S and its liquid - provided they are dissolved - either of these - in some drinkable water and brought into contact with the dissolved H2S in the eyes. The reaction takes place rapidly as being heteropolic, belonging to the category: acid1 + salt1 salt2 + acid2 with the H2CO3 being split to CO2 + H2O.
