Abstract

The invention comprises an axis mechanism with a handle that is joined on to the side of a barbecue. Its purpose is to enable powerful rotation of the grill from outside of the barbecue so as to facilitate the positioning of food (meat, chicken, fish etc) on the grill without burning the user's hand. Furthermore, the invention also comprises a barbecue that has a rotating grill mechanism outside the fire range. Previous manufacturing technology has produced a permanent grill or simply one which is removable, before, during or after grilling. With such apparatus the user of the barbecue cannot move the grill with ease so as to turn over the food or place new food on the grill without burning his/her hand. However, with the present invention this problem is solved because at any point during use, it is possible to rotate the gridiron and carry out any tasks involving the grill and afterwards it can be returned to its cooking position with one simple movement of the handle.
