Abstract
For the purpose of corrosion protection of surfaces of metallic components, which surfaces abut so as to form gaps, against ion-conducting liquid corrosion media, anodes which are electrically insulated with respect to the metal surfaces are arranged in the gaps. In order to improve the corrosion protection, provision is made for the anode which is connected to the components connected as a cathode to be embedded in a solid which has open porosity and acts as an electrical insulator. <IMAGE>
