Abstract
Hazard detection system with a central unit and at least one primary detection line connected to it, on which a multiplicity of detectors are disposed; these detectors are polled cyclically by the central unit and have at least one sensor which detects any hazard, a transmission device which can be automatically de-activated and re-activated by means of a control signal, an address memory provided with an address during the initialisation of the system and a switch which interrupts or through-connects the line and the transmission device of a respective detector may be in one of the following operating modes: it is constantly activated and thus ready to receive control signals and to transmit signals in every polling cycle, it is activated in the i-th polling cycle only, it is activated in the event of an alarm only, on the basis of a control signal from the sensor, it is activated on the basis of a control signal from the central unit.
