Abstract

A central station (Z) is connected to at least one primary alarm line (MPL) which is formed by a serial signal bus (SB) to which various elements (EL1 to ELn) and, at the termination of a respective surveillance area (UEB1, UEB2), a block lock element (BS1, BS2) are connected. All connected elements are capable of monitoring and emitting alarm signals almost simultaneously, the signal (UES) used for line monitoring being selectively changed (UESV) by the element which wants to prevent arming (SV), and the relevant block lock (BS1, BS2) immediately recognising from this a nonrelease for its area (UEB1, UEB2) in the unarmed state of the intruder alarm system (EMA), the central station (Z) interpreting the selective change of the monitoring signal (UESV) as permissible and not as a fault. <IMAGE>
