Abstract

Novelty: an ointment destined for the radical, rapid and anodyne treatment of osteoarthritis is disclosed. Preparation stages: 1) addition of 40 gr of dried comfrey root cut infusion to a mixture being consisted of pure bee wax ( 8 gr) and virgin olive oil (52 gr) and thermally treated/liquefied in bain-marie at 70 deg. Celcius; 2) addition of the dried comfrey root cut infusion (40 gr) to the pure bee wax –and- virgin olive oil mixture the temperature of which has been dropped from 70 degrees to 40 deg. Celcius; 3) stirring of the mixture with a hand-operated blender for 2 to 3 minutes; 4) pouring of the hot fluid mixture into a sterilized jar for later use, after cooling. Administration dose: application of 2 gr of the resulting ointment on the suffering region for a time interval ranging from 4 to 20 days (3 times a day). Properties: viscous ointment characterized by golden green colour and light smell.

ΑΛΟΙΦΗ ΠΑΤΗ ΘΕΡΑΠΕΙΑ ΤΗΣ ΟΣΤΕΟΑΡΘΡΙΤΙΔΑΣ PATI OINTMENT TREATMENT OF OSTEOARTHRITIS

Η εφεύρεση αναφέρεται σε μια αλοιφή για τη θεραπεία της οστεοαρθρίτιδας και είναι προϊόν θερμικής κατεργασίας γνησίου κηρού μέλισσας , ελαιολαδου και αφεψήματος του βοτάνου σύμφυτο, το οποίο έχει ριζική θεραπευτική ιδιότητα στην οστεοαρθρίτιδα. Η θεραπεία αυτή πλεονεκτεί άλλων χημικών προϊόντων τα οποία δεν είναι θεραπευτικά αλλά συντηρητικά. The invention refers to an ointment for the treatment of osteoarthritis and is a product of thermal treatment of genuine beeswax, olive oil and a decoction of the herb symphytos, which has radical therapeutic properties in osteoarthritis. This treatment has the advantage of other chemical products which are not curative but conservative.

Το παρασκεύασμα αυτό έχει τη μορφή της αλοιφής , το οποίο προκύπτει από τη θερμική κατεργασία γνησίου κηρού της μέλισσας ( λιώσιμο του κηρού της μέλισσας στον ατμό ) για χρονικό διάστημα οκτώ ( 8 ) έως δώδεκα ( 12) πρώτα λεπτά της ώρας και προσθήκη του ελαιολάδου και στην συνέχεια προσθήκη του αφεψήματος του βοτάνου σύμφυτο. Η ακριβής δε μέθοδος παρασκευής του είναι η ακόλουθος : This preparation is in the form of an ointment, which results from the heat treatment of genuine beeswax (melting the beeswax in steam) for a period of eight (8) to twelve (12) first minutes of the hour and adding the olive oil and then adding the decoction of the herb symphytos. The exact method of its preparation is as follows:

α ) Πλένουμε πολύ καλά για να αποφευχθεί τυχόν παρουσία χώματος , τις ρίζες του φυτού σύμφυτο και τις τεμαχίζουμε σε πολύ μικρά κομμάτια, έπειτα τα αφήνουμε να αποξηρανθούν σε σκιερό χώρο . Η διαδικασία της αποξήρανσης μπορεί να διαρκέσει δεκαπέντε ( 15 ) έως είκοσι ( 20 ) ημέρες. a) Wash very well to avoid any presence of soil, the roots of the symphyte plant and cut them into very small pieces, then leave them to dry in a shaded area. The drying process can take fifteen (15) to twenty (20) days.

β) Εμβαπτίζουμε τρία (3) γραμμάρια αποξηραμένων ριζών του βοτάνου σύμφυτο σε εκατό ( 100 ) γραμμάρια αποσταγμένου νερού , το οποίο αποσταγμένο νερό βρίσκεται σε θερμοκρασία βρασμού και το αφήνουμε για σαράντα ( 40 ) έως σαράντα πέντε ( 45 ) πρώτα λεπτά της ώρας . b) Soak three (3) grams of dried roots of the herb symphytos in one hundred (100) grams of distilled water, which distilled water is at boiling temperature and leave it for forty (40) to forty-five (45) first minutes of the hour.

γ) Στην συνέχεια λαμβάνουμε ποσότητα οκτώ ( 8 ) γραμμάρια τριμμένου γνησίου κηρού της μέλισσας και την τοποθετούμε σε ανοξείδωτο σκεύος. Έπειτα η ποσότητα αυτή των οκτώ ( 8 ) γραμμαρίων υποβάλλεται σε λιώσιμο στον ατμό ( μπέν- μαρί ). c) Then we take an amount of eight (8) grams of grated genuine beeswax and place it in a stainless steel container. Then this quantity of eight (8) grams is subjected to melting in steam (bain-marie).

δ) Ακολουθεί προσθήκη ποσότητας πενήντα δύο ( 52 ) γραμμαρίων παρθένου ελαιολάδου αναδεύοντας μέχρι να ομογενοποιηθούν. Αποσύρουμε το ανοξείδωτο σκεύος από τον ατμό όταν το μίγμα γνησίου κηρού μέλισσας και ελαιολάδου βρίσκονται σε θερμοκρασία 70 βαθμών Κελσίου (ελαιώδη φάση). d) Then add a quantity of fifty-two (52) grams of virgin olive oil, stirring until homogenized. We withdraw the stainless steel vessel from the steam when the mixture of genuine beeswax and olive oil are at a temperature of 70 degrees Celsius (oily phase).

ε) Όταν η θερμοκρασία του ανωτέρω μίγματος ταπεινωθεί στους σαράντα ( 40 ) βαθμούς Κελσίου , λαμβάνουμε ποσότητα σαράντα ( 40 ) γραμμαρίων από το έγχυμα του βοτάνου σύμφυτο ( υγρή φάση ) το οποίο προσέχουμε να βρίσκεται και αυτό σε θερμοκρασία σαράντα ( 40 ) βαθμών Κελσίου και το προσθέτουμε στην ελαιώδη φάση . e) When the temperature of the above mixture is lowered to forty (40) degrees Celsius, we take a quantity of forty (40) grams of the infusion of the symbiont herb (liquid phase) which we make sure is also at a temperature of forty (40) degrees Celsius and we add it to the oily phase.

Κατά την ενσωμάτωση της υγρής φάσης στην ελαιώδη τα συστατικά μας προσέχουμε να βρίσκονται στην ίδια θερμοκρασία των 40 βαθμών Κελσίου . When incorporating the liquid phase into the oily one, we make sure that our ingredients are at the same temperature of 40 degrees Celsius.

στ) Στην συνέχεια αναδεύουμε για ένα ( 1 ) έως δύο ( 2 ) πρώτα λεπτά της ώρας με αναδευτήρα χειρός μέχρι να ομογενοποιηθούν οι δύο φάσεις και άμεσα αποθηκεύεται ενόσω βρίσκεται ακόμα σε υγρή μορφή σε αποστειρωμένο βαζάκι . f) Then we stir for one (1) to two (2) first minutes of the hour with a hand mixer until the two phases are homogenized and it is immediately stored while it is still in liquid form in a sterile jar.

Το παραπάνω προϊόν μετά την πάροδο δεκαπέντε (15 ) πρώτων λεπτών της ώρας λαμβάνει τη μορφή παχύρευστης αλοιφής . Η αλοιφή έχει χρυσοπράσινο χρώμα και ελαφριά μυρωδιά ελαιολάδου . Με το τελικό προϊόν όπως περιγράφεται παραπάνω και σε ποσότητα δύο ( 2 ) γραμμαρίων επαλείφουμε την πάσχουσα περιοχή τρεις φορές ημερησίως και για χρονικό διάστημα το οποίο εξαρτάται από την σοβαρότητα και τον βαθμό της οστεοαρθρίτιδας και κυμαίνεται από τέσσερις ( 4 ) έως είκοσι ( 20 ) ημέρες . After the first fifteen (15) minutes of the hour, the above product takes the form of a thick ointment. The ointment has a golden-green color and a slight smell of olive oil. With the final product as described above and in a quantity of two (2) grams, smear the affected area three times a day and for a period of time that depends on the severity and degree of osteoarthritis and ranges from four (4) to twenty (20) days .

Claims

1.- Method of receiving a product of heat treatment of a mixture of genuine beeswax, virgin olive oil and then adding an infusion of dried roots of the herb symphytos for the treatment of osteoarthritis, in which it is formed from specific amounts of the above materials, i.e. forty (40) grams of decoction of dried of roots of the herb symphytos, which is added to eight (8) grams of genuine beeswax and fifty-two (52) grams of virgin olive oil which are placed in a stainless steel vessel and subjected to melting during their stay in steam (bain marie) and then after the addition of all the materials which are all at the same temperature of forty (40) degrees Celsius are stirred with a hand mixer for the first two (2) to three (3) minutes of the hour and while the mixture is still liquid it is placed in a sterile jar after after the first fifteen (15) to twenty (20) minutes of the hour takes the form thick cream, the ointment is ready to use.
