Abstract

Bagging machine on the basis of thermal welding of thermo-transfer plastic films, applying a welding method and principle securing the welding of a thermo-transfer plastic film, based on the controlled and synchronous thawing at the bottom of a V-shaped retention element formed by 2 retention beams of suitable geometry.The application of the conventional FLOWPACK bagging method at the packaging machines is not possible due to the presence of printed thermo-transfer inks on the side of the welded surfaces.The advantage of this invention in relation to the ultrasonic method is that the folded polyester film (2) is welded exactly at its edges,without any need for a film strip having a width larger that that needed for a given cross-section ofthe aluminum tube.Another advantage is that the welding head is much cheaper and with lower maintenance cost.
