ΣΥΣΤΗΜΑ ΑΝΩ ΚΑΙ ΚΑΤΩ ΚΕΡΑΜΙΔΙΟΥ ΜΕ ΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΗ SYSTEM UP AND DOWN TILES WITH MECHANICS
ΣΤΕΡΕΩΣΗ ΕΠΙ ΦΟΡΕΑ ΣΤΕΓΗΣ MOUNTING ON A ROOF SUPPORT
ΤΟ ΠΕΔΙΟ ΤΗΣ ΤΕΧΝΙΚΗΣ THE FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY
The invention refers to the field of construction techniques and more specifically to building systems and even more specifically to a roof covering system. In particular, it refers to an upper and lower tile system with mechanical fixing on a roof carrier.
ΤΟ ΙΣΤΟΡΙΚΟ ΤΗΣ ΕΦΕΥΡΕΣΕΩΣ THE HISTORY OF THE INVENTION
The top and bottom tile system disclosed in the present invention with mechanical attachment to a roof carrier has not been disclosed in the prior art.
Byzantine tiles are tiles whose use goes back to ancient times. Byzantine tiles guarantee absolute tightness, durability and an excellent aesthetic effect, elements that led to their wide use over the centuries. Until now, stabilization and waterproofing are ensured by the use of additives, such as mud (cement mortar) or vertical timber, but at the same time increasing the overall weight of the roof.
In addition, for the efficient drainage of rainwater, flattened tiles, of a different dimension than the rest, are often used, which are placed on the underside, affecting the final result. If upper and lower tiles of the same width are used, there is a risk that the upper ones will not touch the hollow part of the lower tiles, leaving gaps with the risk of the introduction of "wind rain" inside the roof. The result of this is that the upper tiles of different dimensions do not touch the hollow part of the lower tiles, leaving gaps and even affecting the final visual result.
It is thus an object of the present invention to further improve upon the prior art by proposing a top and bottom tile system mechanically fastened to a roof carrier.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a top and bottom tile system mechanically fastened to a roof carrier using Byzantine style tile blocks for its application.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a top and bottom tile system with mechanical fixing on a roof support, where the pieces are placed and fixed together, but also on a wooden support on the roof.
It is a further object of the invention to present an upper and lower tile system mechanically fastened to a roof carrier, wherein the pieces placed on the lower part have sealing and alignment ribs.
It is a further object of the invention to provide a top and bottom tile system mechanically fastened to a roof carrier where no mud is required to achieve waterproofing and stability of the tiles.
Another advantage of the invention is that the upper tiles have ribs that act as a deterrent to the movement of the tile in the same direction as the previous one, during installation, as a result of which an equal overlap of all pairs of upper tiles is achieved. In the same way, the tile is prevented from sliding due to gravity during installation, until it is screwed.
A further advantage of the invention is the fact that the lower tile has a flat stabilization surface, which makes it unnecessary to use vertical timber which is used alternatively for this reason, contributing to a significant saving in the roof budget.
These and other objects, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent in the following detailed description.

ΛΕΠΤΟΜΕΡΗΣ ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΤΙΜΩΜΕΝΗΣ ΕΦΑΡΜΟΓΗΣ DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED APPLICATION
Referring now to the accompanying drawings we will describe exemplary applications of the top and bottom tile system mechanically fastened to a roof carrier.
Both the upper tile (1), Fig. 1 (a), and the lower tile (2), Fig. 2 (a) of the invention are Byzantine-type tiles. Instead of using a flattened bottom tile, in order to create a gap for rainwater runoff, the top and bottom tiles are the same size, contributing to the uniformity between the tiles and the high aesthetics of the roof, while maintaining the possibility of rainwater runoff, due to a certain width. The length is also specific, in order to create a suitable overlap between two upper tiles (1), able to prevent the introduction of "wind rain". The upper tile (1) of the invention has a perforated alignment rib (3), Fig. 1 (b), in its inner cavity, which acts as a brake when it is placed on the roof, preventing it from rolling until it is screwed in, and serves as a reference point in equal overlap. The perforated alignment rib (3) has a retaining hole (4) for fixing the upper tile (1) using wire (5), preventing possible displacement of the tile in the event of a windstorm, Fig. 1(c). The fact that the holding hole (4) through the wire (5) is located in the front of the tile (1), makes the action of the wire (5) even more effective. The fixing is done on a wooden carrier (6), using a nail (7), which penetrates both the upper tile (1), through another hole (13), and the wooden carrier (6). In an alternative application, instead of a nail (7), a screw, sealed or not, can be used.
Accordingly, the lower tile (2), Fig. 2(a), of the invention is placed on the wooden support (6), Fig. 4 with its hollow part upwards. For this reason, it has a flat stabilization surface (8) with which it is placed on the wooden carrier (6), avoiding the need to use a vertical wooden carrier and cement mortar, which until now were used for stabilization. Furthermore, it has on the flat fixing surface (8) and perforated alignment rib (9), Fig. 2(b), which is used to fix the bottom tile (2) on the carrier (6) using wire (5). . Alternatively or even simultaneously with the wire (5), thanks to the hole (10), Fig. 3, provided by the alignment rib (9) a nail (11) can be inserted, which further stabilizes the lower tile (2) on of the wooden carrier (6). In addition, the perforated alignment rib (9) acts as a brake during installation on the roof, preventing it from rolling until it is screwed down. The dimensions of the tiles are suitable so that the distance of placing two successive lower tiles (2) is such that the corresponding distance of the corresponding successive upper tiles (1) is the desired one for the creation of a rainwater drainage hatch. Finally, the lower tile (2) has sealing ribs (12), Fig. 2(c), which ensure the further sealing of both the system and the surface below, contributing to the passage of water, preventing entry, " "rain" and foreign bodies. The sealing ribs (12) make it unnecessary to use cement mortar, where it was used for this purpose.
When applying the system, lower tiles (2) are placed on wooden supports (6) spaced at predetermined intervals, depending on the dimensions of the Byzantine tiles, which are fixed on the supports (6) with a nail (11) but if required also with wire (5). Then upper tiles (1) are placed, in such a way that between the cavities of two lower tiles (2) an upper tile (1) is placed, with the cavity downwards. The hole (13) of each upper tile (1) is located in the gap between the two lower tiles (2), so that the nail (7) passes through to the wooden carrier (6), fixing the upper tile (1) ). For additional security, a wire (5) can be used, passing through the retaining hole (4) of the perforated alignment rib (3).
It should be noted at this point that the description of the invention was made with reference to illustrative application examples, to which it is not limited. Therefore, any change or modification in terms of shape, dimensions, morphology, materials used and construction and assembly components, as long as they do not constitute a new inventive step and do not contribute to the technical development of what is already known, are considered included in the aims and objectives of the present invention.
