Abstract

Novelty: a SWAS system which is adaptable to the traffic signals for protecting human life by reducing road accidents is disclosed. Technical features: said system is provided with emitters placed on the traffic signals in order to emit micro-waves of a precise frequency, in the road direction and, thus, warn the drivers, via a visual and sound signal this system emits, about the illuminated state of the red or orange lights not respected, inadvertently or not; the above visual and sound signals are received by receivers placed either on the touch screen monitor or to another power supply source (e.g. cigarette lighter, USB etc) of the vehicle. Furthermore, it can be used with Stop signals provided that these last are electrified.
