Abstract

Lightweight mortar for covering floors and walls. It is prepared using pumice 0-3 mm 67 per cent w/w, white of gray portland cement CEM I 52,5 N 26 per cent w/w, hydrated lime 5 per cent w/w, sodium gluconate 0,02 w/w, bentonite 1,48 w/w, methyl hydroxy ethyl cellulose 0,3 per cent w/w and polycaroxylated polymer 0,2 per cent w/w. It may be used without any difference as a basic coat plaster but also as a floor covering mortar. Provides the advantage of reducing the total plaster weight by 45 per cent approximately while at the same time provides thermal isulation, sound insulation and fire resistance.
