Abstract

In a surgical operation for cryptorchidism treatment, surgeon is called to estimate the testis condition 11 by feeling and decide either about the cutting off of the testis or about the placement thereof into the scrotum. Feeling includes great subjectivity and increased possibility of mistaken evaluation of the functionality of the testis. The present invention relates to a device which -when in contact with the testis 11- quantitatives the mechanic properties and provides the most accurate evaluation of the testis functionality. Consequently, pacing or not the testis into the scrotum is an objective selection based further on objective criteria than on the subjective evaluation of a surgeon.
