The immersed air-liquid pump consists of two parts: the main body and the control panel. The liquid to be delivered is temporarily stored in the body. The liquid enters because of the difference in hydrostatic pressure (pump - tank) with the aid of the valve. Once the pump has been filled with the aid of compressed air through the electric valve, the temporarily stored liquid passes to the outlet through a pipe. From the control panel the operator can control the liquid intake and discharge times, and the quantity of liquid pumped. An air expander serves to regulate the air pressure (in accordance with the manometric height of the liquid), and hence the speed at which the liquid is delivered.
