Abstract

A snorkel for use in free diving and for the sport of technical swimming which provides various pathways for the movement of inhaled and exhaled air to and from the surface. The direction of movement of the air in the pathways is controlled by valves suspended on rubber bases, the design and constructional material of which provides the facility, when the user exercises gentle pressure internally on the main body, to bend the inlet valve thus permitting, when necessary, easy cleaning (other than the outlet path) by exhaling through the inlet path.
