Abstract

999,958. Conveyers. MASCHINFABRIK BUCKAU R. WOLF A.G. Feb. 16, 1962 [Feb. 17, 1961], No. 6039/62. Heading B8A. A continuous supply of fuel for a power station is maintained automatically over a week-end by providing a level storage space 1 and a belt conveyer 9 in a trench 2 covered by a hood 6 with a slot 13 along one side so that material heaped over the hood slides on to a removal table 15 whence it is transferred to the conveyer belt 9 by a rotating vane wheel 12 carried by a truck 11 reciprocating along the trench 2 on rails 17. There may be slots in both sides of the hood, and the truck may be either above or below the level storage space (Fig. 4, not shown).
