998,678. Kettles. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. March 11, 1964 [March 27, 1963], No. 12121/63. Heading A4A. In a kettle as disclosed in Specification 970,795 an imperforate sheet metal baffle 17 is provided in front of the spout opening in the body to restrict surging of water through the spout, the baffle being curved concentrically with the filling opening; extending between steam vents 13 in the lip of the body, and having a flange 19 secured by the nuts securing the handle 4 to the body. The step 18 indicates the rated capacity of the kettle.
