Abstract

A liquid animal feed mixture comprises predominantly train oil (preferably 95-97%), gallic acid alkyl ester (0.5-2.0%) and lecithin (1.8-2.1%) which aids the solution of the ester in the oil. The mixture may additionally contain wheat germ oil and/or vitamin D3 and other lipo-soluble stabilizers. A mixture containing train and lecithin, and a mixture containing train oil and gallic acid alkyl ester are formed at elevated temperatures (preferably 40-85 DEG C.) the two mixtures then being added together. The preferred ester is gallic acid propyl ester.
